Major Trial Site Success

Dscf4831

This trial site is a steep hillside that was covered in a canopy of some of Waiheke Island finest weed species.

Amongst which were, evergreen buckthorn (Rhamnus), gorse trees, boneseed, Chinese privet, Cotoneaster, Japanese honeysuckle, acacia sps and wooly nightshade.

This picture was taken today and shows the regrowth of native grass cover over much of the area.

There is no regrowth of the original weed cover after 12 months from the start of the project.

Cut'n'Paste was used exclusively to achieve this result.
