pampass

Dscf4591

This pampass grass received less than a teaspoon of gel into the central new leaves a fortnight ago.  You don't get much deader than that.  With a large plant you will need to paste several of the growing leaders.

Agapanthus succumbs

Dscf4587

This Agapanthus was pasted on the 14th and within a week is showing severe signs of decline.  The paste was used in the centre of the plant and lodged between the new growing leaves where it is most readily absorbed.

What does it kill

Cut'n'Paste will kill almost any plant if used in the right way.  Some plants though are very resistant to Glyphosate.  English Ivy and Bamboos are known to be resistant to glyphosate though trials are underway to investigate ways of using Cut'n'Paste of these too.
Wooly Nightshade, gorse, privet, cotoneaster, willows, pampass grass, rhamnus, Japanese honeysuckle etc. etc.

Will Woolies there are three ways of using Cut'n'Paste.  Cut the trunk low to the ground and paste with a 3mm layer or paste onto the green stems of young ones without cutting or, just paste onto some of the top leaves of young ones.  Bye, bye Woolies.

Happy weeding.

Ginger dies

Will Cut'n'Paste deal to my ginger?  Well here's our managing director with some proof.  Dead as, a month after pasting Cut'n'Paste onto a few of the top leaves.  The gel form means it holds the herbicide on the leaf for long enough for it to absorb enough to kill the plant.  Saves bending down and getting out the secateurs too.

Cut'n'Pasting small vines

Cut'n'Paste works really well on small vines like morning glory and Japanese honeysuckle if you just crack the stem a few times and paste into the cracks.

Always think - How can I best get the plant to absorb as much of the paste as possible as quickly as possible.  The advantage of pasting cracks is that the plant is still actively translocating and therefore draws the toxin into its system effectively.  When pasting a cut stem, paste as soon as possible after cutting so the that plant will suck up the paste as it withdraws its sap.  Young leaves absorb the paste best.

There's more that one way to use Cut'n'Paste

Cut'n'Paste gel works well pasted onto the leaves of weeds

Even hardy weeds like Ginger and Agapanthus respond to the unique combination of ingredients in Cut'n'Paste and yellow in a couple of weeks.  Experiment with pasting onto stems of large weeds with green stems, scoring trunks of large weeds before pasting to increase the uptake.  Just painting a dozen leaves of small scrubs will often do the trick.

Recommendations for Cut'n'Paste

Testmonials for Cut n paste

As a weed control contractor for over 14 years I have used every type of herbicide for controlling weeds. I trialled Cut'n'paste in my business and found it to be effective in controlling a range of brush weeds such as Chinese privet, tree privet, woolly nightshade, gorse, monkey apple and evergreen buckthorn. The fact that it can achieve results with the lowest toxicity Glyphosate in its formulation just increases its worth in the battle against weeds. I have no hesitation in recommending this product to other contractors and to homeowners.
