Cut'n'Paste works really well on small vines like morning glory and Japanese honeysuckle if you just crack the stem a few times and paste into the cracks.
Always think - How can I best get the plant to absorb as much of the paste as possible as quickly as possible. The advantage of pasting cracks is that the plant is still actively translocating and therefore draws the toxin into its system effectively. When pasting a cut stem, paste as soon as possible after cutting so the that plant will suck up the paste as it withdraws its sap. Young leaves absorb the paste best.
There's more that one way to use Cut'n'Paste
